AviatorCalc emulates the popular
E6B
mechanical flight planning computer. The
E6B flight
computer has a Calculator side (left illustration) and a Wind side
(right illustration).
The calculator side carries out all of the general calculations and
conversions that a pilot made need for flight planning. These types of
calcultion will be found in the "Flight Planning" menu of
AviatorCalc.
The wind side carries out calculations on Headwind and Crosswind,
Heading and Groundspeed and wind vector.
Crosswind and Heading & Groundspeed
are also included in the "Flight Planning" menu of
AviatorCalc.
