The author is an IT professional and a qualified UK Pilot with
PPL, IMC, Night and Multi Engine rating. He also has a Joint
Aviation Requirements (JAR) SE license. In 2002 the author passed
commercial pilot examinations in Avionics, Air law, Navigation, Jet
and piston engines, Meteorology, and Human factors.
The programs were
thoroughly tested by several Commercial Pilots and Flying
instructors and their ideas and comments incorporated into the
