Software installation

Installation of the software can be done in a number of ways but will always be the same method as installing games on your mobile phone. The software may be installed either via the internet using your phones web browser, a file transfer program or by using the mobile phone manufacturer's application installation software. Connection between the PC and the mobile phone is via USB cable, infra-red connection or a Bluetooth wireless connection. Check either the documentation that came with the mobile phone or consult the manufacturer's web site for the correct method. All games software consists of two files namely a JAR file (Java ARchive) and a JAD file (Java Application Description). Both of these files must be installed into the mobile phone. This means copying both files into the games or application folder of your mobile phone.

We cannot provide support for every type of phone however some of the more common ones are mentioned below with some useful links.

Motorola www.motarola.com Midway
Samsung www.samsung.com Softik PPP

When downloading the AviatorCalc software both the JAD and JAR file are provided. There is however a program that can create a JAD file from just a JAR file called jadmaker should you require it.
