Before upgrading to AviatorCalc

You need to obtain a new activation code and the download link for the software.
To do this go to the Upgrade Request Form
(Press Up on the menu on the left). You can find out the current version of the
software by opening the About Screen in any of the AviatorCalc program menus. |

Upgrading from version 3.4 and 3.5
|
Version 3.4 and 3.5 are completely compatible with version
3.6 except for the
Airport database which now contains the UTC offset for the airfield for use in
the Sunrise Sunset calculator. You may need
a new activation code and is free for previous users of AviatorCalc.
- Record any important information in the Airport database.
- Delete the Airport database. Enter "Delete" in the text box and keep
pressing delete until all records are deleted.
- Download and install the AviatorCalc software.
- Re-enter the Airport details. Add UTC offset for Sunrise Sunset
calculations.
Go to the Upgrade Request Form.

Upgrading from version 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3
|
The waypoints , Airport database and Flight Plan databases in AviatorCalc
3.6
have changed since version 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3.
- Record any important information in the waypoints database.
- Record the waypoints in each flight plan.
- Download the AviatorCalc to your mobile phone.
- Keep existing data when prompted by the installation.
- Delete the Waypoint Database, Airport database and Flight plan databases in the Navigation menu.
- Enter the activation code for version
3.6 sent to
you by email and not the one you were using.
- Re-enter or download the waypoints into the waypoints database.
- Re-enter the flight plans.
- Start using the program.

Upgrading from version 3.0 and 3.01
|
The Aircraft and Airport Databases have changed in AviatorCalc in version 3.1 onwards.
To upgrade to AviatorCalc version
3.6 do the
following:
- Record any important information in your Aircraft and Airport Databases.
- Download the AviatorCalc to your mobile phone.
- Keep existing data when prompted by the installation.
- Carry out the instructions for upgrading from 3.1,3.2 and 3.3 above.
- Delete the Aircraft and Airport Databases.
- Enter the activation code for version
3.6 sent to
you by email and not the one you were using.
- Re-enter your aircraft and airport details.
- Start using the program.

Upgrading from AviatorCalc version 1.0 and 2.0
|
These software versions of AviatorCalc are not compatible with version
3.6 and must be
completely removed from the phone before installing the new version of
AviatorCalc.
- Record any important information in your Aircraft or Airport Database.
- Un-install the existing version of AviatorCalc.
- Download the AviatorCalc to your mobile phone.
- Enter the activation code for version
3.6 sent to
you by email and not the one you were using.
- Re-enter your aircraft details.
- Start using the program.
